A hyperlink is a link that points to another part of a document or to another document. Removing a hyperlink from a single cell/group of cells is just as simple as doing the following:

OPTION ONE (EASY):

  • Select the cell or range of cells containing the hyperlink(s)

  • At this point, you may still see some blue and underlined text indicating there is a hyperlink, but in actual case, there are no more hyperlinks.
  • So what you should do now is to re-format that cell/cells to suit your needs. But if you don’t want any formatting, simply clear the formats in that cell/cells by clicking the small box that just appeared immediately after the links were cleared or see this guide on how to remove cell formats.
